Basketball sneaker fans will be a little lighter in the wallet this weekend thanks to must-have releases from Nike and Jordan Brand.
On the modern performance side is the “White/Black” iteration of the Nike Kobe 11, which arrives in stores and on nike.com on Sept. 24. The next edition of the final on-court signature shoe for NBA legend Kobe Bryant will retail for $160.
The shoe utilizes a simple white and black color palette, with white making up much of the upper and black accounting for accents. The shoe is completed with an icy translucent outsole.

And for fans of past favorites, Jordan Brand also will release the Air Jordan 5 Retro “Bronze” on Sept. 24. The shoe will retail for $190 and be available via SNKRS. The style will also be available in kids sizing via nike.com: grade school will retail for $140, preschool sizes for $80, and toddler for $60.
The “Bronze” iteration of the Air Jordan 5 Retro is executed in a obsidian, metallic red bronze, bright grape and white color palette.
