Man Scales Trump Tower In Five Ten Shoes

The man climbing Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York City using suction cups has finally been corralled.

After making his way up more than 20 floors, the currently unidentified man was brought inside. To scale the 68-story building, the man — who multiple reports are identifying as a man named “Steve” from Virginia — sported a black and blue climbing style by outdoor brand Five Ten. The shoe appears to be the brand’s Rogue VCS, which is available now and retails for $100.

Using five suction cups and some rope, the man scaled the building for roughly two hours, according to multiple reports, which shut down the road. According to a pix11.com report, the man posted a video via YouTube titled “Message to Mr. Trump (why I climbed your tower)” on Tuesday stating he will climb the building.
