All that glitters isn’t only gold — it’s Puma, too.
Leicester City Football Club, the new English Premier League Champions, debuted its 2016-17 home kits that feature the sportswear label’s logo in gold — a nod to its Premier League victory.
The shirts feature a geometric jacquard design to the blue body and sleeves, and the gold piping adds a pop of color and flash.
Leicester City midfielder Andy King said in a statement that the new kits look “fantastic,” adding,”the piping on the front and back which offers hints of gold looks great and will help us stand out on the pitch.”
“We cannot wait to walk out onto the pitch in the shirt at the start of the Premier League season, as we defend our Premier League title,” he said.
Since 2012, the sneaker-and-sportswear manufacturer has served as the official kit supplier of the team.
