It didn’t take long for Anta to capitalize on NBA star Klay Thompson’s career-best scoring performance.
After dropping 60 points against the Indiana Pacers on Monday night, Anta has delivered a new colorway of its Golden State Warriors-sponsored star’s signature shoe, the KT2. The latest iteration plays off the team’s “Splash Brothers” duo — Thompson and Stephen Curry — and Thompson’s ability to hit shots from long range with ease.
The limited-edition “Make It Rain” colorway of the KT2 is available now on antamaerica.com with a $120 retail price.

“In basketball’s perfect storm, lightning strikes and thunder shakes the floor, while Klay Thompson provides the smooth, steady rain; life-giving, yet destructive,” the brand wrote on its website about its star baller.
The sneaker boasts a tonal blue color gradient, starting with cyan on the toe cap and navy blue on the heel. To execute the rain concept, the outsole features a splatter pattern to resemble raindrops and a lightning graphic on the toe cap. The shoe’s performance characteristics remain the same, including its high-traction outsole and lateral flare for maximum stability, mid-foot support system and an injection heel.
