Most players won’t ever score 60 points in a 48-minute regulation NBA game. Klay Thompson hit the mark in just 29 minutes.
At the Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., on Monday night, the all-star guard dropped 60 points on a tough Indiana Pacers squad, leading the Golden State Warriors to a 142-106 beat-down of its Eastern Conference foe. Thompson hit 21 field goals in the 29 minutes, including shooting 8-of-14 from three-point range.
Thompson, an Anta-sponsored athlete, hit the court in his latest signature shoe from the brand, the “Whitehawk” KT2. The shoe is part of the Anta America KT2 “Players Edition” line.
The “Whitehawk” iteration, according to the brand, boasts a heel design reminiscent of a hawk, paired with styled angles that resemble wingtips that flex. The design, Anta said, gives way to perforations to keep the shoe breathable. The shoe also features a high-traction outsole and lateral flare for stability during quick bursts and cuts on the court, a mid-foot support system with an injection heel to lock you into the shoe.
Not much was needed from the Warriors’ other typically high-scoring stars Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, who scored 13 and 20 points against Indiana on Monday, respectively.
Anta announced this week the release of another KT2 iteration, the “Fadeaway.” Here’s a look at the next colorway to drop.
