Collaborations with Japanese streetwear staple AAPE by A Bathing Ape don’t last very long on retail shelves. And if you don’t act fast, you may miss out on the brand’s latest work with K-Swiss.
The limited-edition K-Swiss x AAPE collab executed on the Classic ’66 sneaker arrives on Thursday throughout the U.S. with a retail price of $140. The shoe will be sold at select boutique and chain retailers such as the New York City destinations Atmos, West NYC and Urban Outfitters, as well as Wish in Atlanta, DTLR in Baltimore and Villa in Philadelphia.
Outside of the U.S., the shoe will be sold at END in the U.K.
The iconic 50-year-old tennis sneaker with a three-piece toe cap boasts the Japanese label’s signature ape camouflage print on its upper and is paired with a clean white midsole and outsole. On one of the shoe’s five stripes is the AAPE by A Bathing Ape branding; additional branding for the label appears on the shoe’s heel, woven tongue label and insoles. The look is completed with white laces and the signature K-Swiss d-ring eyelets.
