Since introducing its Chuck Taylor All Star II in July 2015, Converse has delivered several iterations and updates to the style. The latest interpretation of the model that’s set to drop this week is winter-ready.
The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II Boot, part of the brand’s Counter Climate Boots Collection, arrives in stores on Thursday and retails for $130. The style will be available at Converse retailers, Converse-branded doors and via converse.com.
For its initial drop, Converse will deliver the boot in four colorways: Egret, Antique Sepia, Black and Dark Chocolate.

The new style, according to Converse, combines classic sneaker design with premium-weatherized features, and it provides what’s needed to combat changes in the weather. The boot is the brand’s first waterproof sneaker boot that’s crafted to keep feet warm and dry in poor winter conditions, all while keeping with the classic Chuck Taylor look and feel.
The model features a waterproof bootie, neoprene collar and heel pull to keep water out of the boot, a 360-degree heat barrier to keep feet warm, premium mesh-backed waterproof leather, and water-repellent canvas. The boot also boasts a rugged weatherized gum outsole with deep grooves and Nike Lunarlon cushioning.
