Sneakerheads have been catered to by boutique retailer and lifestyle brand Concepts with stellar collaborations with Nike and New Balance for its yearlong 20th anniversary celebration. The collaborations continue this weekend with the release of Concepts’ latest Diadora project.
The Concepts x Diadora N9000 “Concepts Pack” drops Saturday at the retailer’s Cambridge, Mass., and New York City locations, as well as via its website. The shoe will retail for $200.

The icons of Hollywood in the 1950s – including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. of “The Rat Pack” – were known for their classy style of dress. The shoe is inspired by the distinguished gentleman’s take on fashion in that era.
The shoe captures the elements of this fashion-forward era, using a simplified black and white color palette and three different lace options: black, red and “piano key.” The upper also boasts a hint of red on its top eyelets. Concepts’ attention to detail extends beyond the shoe to the packaging, as the retailer typically does, with a box resembling a tuxedo jacket with a trifold red pocket square.

The collaboration uses a special twill material used in suits, as well as suede and perforated leather. The shoe features a premium leather liner, a mesh tongue and reflective Diadora branding.

For its anniversary celebration, Concepts has worked with Nike on the Free Trainer 1.0 Thermal and New Balance on the TBTF “Night Trail.”
