Air Jordan retro silhouettes continued to dominate the sneakerhead landscape in 2015. Nike plans to continue to feed Jordan addicts in 2016, most recently with the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro release.
The girls’ Air Jordan 4 Retro Dark Obsidian/Vivid Pink drops Saturday. The shoe will be available in grade school, preschool and toddler sizes, with retail prices of $140, $80 and $60, respectively.
The shoe features a predominantly dark obsidian denim upper. Vivid pink and metallic gold make an appearance on the Jumpman branding on the tongue; more vivid pink Jumpman branding can be found on the heel. The color is also featured on the shoe’s collar. The shoe boasts a navy blue and white midsole and is completed with a vivid pink outsole.
The first Air Jordan release of 2016 was also an Air Jordan 4 Retro. The Air Jordan Retro 4 Alternate 89 hit stores on Jan. 2 and retailed for $190. The men’s shoe also came in grade school, preschool and toddler sizes, retailing for $140, $80 and $60, respectively. The shoe is Nike’s interpretation of what Jordan would have worn on the court if he had received player-exclusive colors.
