While many are still making preparations for this holiday season, Jordan Brand is already making plans for next year.
Just days removed from the release of the “Space Jam” Air Jordan 11 — which saw one dedicated sneakerhead wait 18 hours in line for a chance to buy the shoes — rumors are already swirling about 2017’s holiday season Air Jordan 11 drop.
The early word indicates that the colorway will resemble the “White/Midnight Navy” render shared by @zsneakerheadz on Instagram, pictured below. Said to feature a white ballistic mesh upper with a patent leather navy blue overlay and “University Blue” accents, this colorway could resemble something that Michael Jordan might have worn during his brief stint with the Washington Wizards in the early 2000s.
Meanwhile, the Air Jordan 11’s 2016 campaign isn’t over. On Saturday, Jordan Brand will release the anticipated women’s Air Jordan 11 GG in a maroon velvet (pictured below). Nicknamed both “Heiress” and “Red Velvet,” this premium take on the Air Jordan 11 will be available from select Jordan Brand retailers in extended sizing up to 9.5 with a retail price of $220.
