With May just around the corner, Adidas and Urban Outfitters are offering a way to brighten up one’s wardrobe.
The Adidas Tubular Doom sneaker is available in a bright pink reminiscent of the pink color used in Adidas’ EQT line. Although the sneakers were stocked in limited quantity at select retailers earlier this month, they quickly sold out. Now they’re back for pre-order on Urban Outfitter’s website.
The popular Tubular style gets the tonal treatment, with light pink suede accents overlaying the punchy pink upper. Urban Outfitters also has the style in all-black, and both colorways retail for $140.
The Tubular Doom has been a sell-out silhouette for Adidas. In late March, Adidas surprised fans by re-releasing the Tubular Doom Primeknit in black and gray exclusively via Twitter. The shoes were available in the U.S. only, and customers had to purchase them through the link in Adidas’ tweets.
As part of its Consortium Tour — a yearlong visit to top sneaker destinations around the world — Adidas collaborated in January with New York store Kith on an exclusive iteration of the Tubular Doom Primeknit. The release had fans lined up during a blizzard to get their hands on a pair.
