Last night’s fashion parade on the steps of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art featured regular appearances by celebrity footwear favorite Jimmy Choo.
Fashion daredevil Lupita Nyong’o provided a clear glimpse at her Jimmy Choo Minny sandals through the sheer train of her seafoam-green sequined Calvin Klein gown (which was topped off by a super-high-top ‘do).
The Minny sandals also were a favorite for actress Margot Robbie, who paired them with a white cut-out Calvin Klein ensemble, and for Rachel McAdams, who wore them hidden away under her gold Valentino gown. And Zayne Malik was seen sporting the label’s Miles patent-leather laceup.

Meanwhile, model Kate Upton and actress Amber Heard were shoe twins, as they both selected gold metallic Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps. Upton paired the style with her one-sleeved Topshop dress, while Heard matched the shoe to perfection with her champagne-colored gown from the Ralph Lauren Collection.
Also in Jimmy Choo at the gala were Mindy Kaling, who wore the Pearl platform sandal with a strapless Tory Burch look, and Uma Thurman, who accented a simple Tommy Hilfiger gown with the feathered Vivien sandal.
Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi said in a statement, “As we celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, we are very proud that Jimmy Choo has walked the red carpet for two decades escorting the world’s leading ladies. … Hollywood glamour is an integral part of Jimmy Choo and, as a designer, it is incredibly rewarding to see our designs come to life on the red carpet.”
