Not many models have had a career like Naomi Campbell. Discovered at age 15, the British beauty celebrated her 30 years in fashion with the launch of her new book, “Naomi,” a collection of her body of work.
The 45-year-old was feted by the fashion industry’s heavy hitters on Thursday in New York City at a soiree hosted by Marc Jacobs and Benedikt Taschen at The Diamond Horseshoe.
For the occasion, the catwalk queen made a spectacular appearance in a flesh-baring, floor-length purple sequined dress and gold heels.
The new tome by Taschen features a 3-D cover that resembles Campbell’s bust and includes a collection of her portfolio, autobiographical text, magazine covers and never-before-seen photos. The autographed two-volume set retails for $1,750.
Among the guests, Bella Hadid posed for a selfie with her “mentor” Campbell, who called the 19-year-old a “bright rising star” in a photo posted on her Instagram page.
Hadid had on spring ’16 Giuseppe Zanotti black leather sandals and a head-to-toe Versus Versace ensemble, including a bomber jacket, skirt and halter-neck bodysuit.
Nicky Hilton Rothschild showcased her legs in a pair of black heels and called attention to her baby bump in a Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress.
Uma Thurman complemented her little black dress with a pair of strappy black heels.
Other partygoers included Paris Hilton, Brian Atwood, Andy Cohen, Dave Chapelle, Gayle King, Grace Hightower De Niro, June Ambrose, Zac Posen and more.
