“In a city of 8 million people,” Rosie O’Donnell said, she’s thankful for an unexpected encounter with Ivanka Trump.
The comedian-actress tweeted Wednesday that she had a tete-a-tete with the shoe designer and daughter of Donald Trump after bumping into her at Nobu 57 restaurant in New York City.
“@IvankaTrump in a city of 8 million – we meet face 2 face – i thank u 4 listening – mother 2 mother – on this new years week – my best 2 u,” she wrote on the social networking platform.
Last week during the presidential debate, O’Donnell’s long-running feud with the GOP presidential nominee became the topic of conversation after Hillary Clinton chided him for his offensive comments about women, highlighting that he has referred to the former TV personality as a “slob” and a “pig.”
The Democratic presidential nominee has used Trump’s words in attack ads, but he has stood by his words.
“Hillary is hitting me with tremendous commercials. Some of it I said in entertainment, some of it said to somebody who has been very vicious to me, Rosie O’Donnell,” Trump said. “I said very tough things to her, and I think everybody would agree she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her.”
