Actor T.J. Miller made an appearance on the “Ellen” show this week to promote his upcoming film, “Office Christmas Party.” The comedian was serious at first — discussing the election outcome and his adoration for the talk-show host — but later brought on the jokes.
During the episode, which aired Thursday, Miller reappeared for Ellen DeGeneres’ “12 Days of Christmas” gift-giveaway segment and decided to juggle knives. As part of the prank, Miller dropped a knife, and it landed right through his Nike Blazer sneakers. Watch the funny moment below.
In the Christmas film, Jennifer Aniston stars alongside Miller (who plays her brother), Jason Bateman, Olivia Munn, Kate McKinnon and Courtney B. Vance. The two siblings butt heads as Aniston’s character threatens to shut down his Chicago branch of their massive company, and in order to save the branch, co-workers come together to throw an epic Christmas party.
Miller mentioned the “Friends” actress during his interview, telling DeGeneres that she put him in a chokehold during one scene. He said, “She’s method. She really made me gasp for air.”
Aniston also visited the “Ellen” show this week to promote the film, giving us major Cher Horowitz vibes: The actress looked like the “Clueless” character, wearing black boots, a miniskirt and a plaid vest for her appearance.
