Jennifer Lopez garnered a star-studded crowd on Sunday night in Las Vegas. The “Ain’t Your Mama” singer kicked off the second leg of her Vegas residency show, “Jennifer Lopez: All I Have,” at the Axis Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
J Lo’s residency in Las Vegas will be the only opportunity to see her perform live in North America, and Hollywood A-listers took full advantage.
Reality stars Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian made an appearance and documented their time at the show on Snapchat. Afterward, the Kardashians joined Lopez and fellow celebrities including actress Jessica Alba, singer Meghan Trainor and actress Laverne Cox for a photo op.
For Alba, Trainor and Cox, the J Lo show acted as an after-party following the 2016 Billboard Music Awards. Alba looked to be in the same red-carpet attire, which included Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots and a Zuhair Murad dress.
Lopez now joins an exclusive club of Sin City headliners, including Celine Dion, Bette Midler, Cher, Elton John, Britney Spears and Mariah Carey.
Her show, which surely impressed her celebrity attendees, is close to two hours long and features a five-piece band and 16 dancers. It also “stars” Zuhair Murad, Versace, Michael Costello and Nicolas Jebran — the designers of the custom costumes.
As she did for her 2012 world tour, “Dance Again,” Lopez tapped costumers and stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn — who have also styled Rihanna, Gwen Stefani and Rachel McAdams — for her Vegas act. According to the duo, Lopez was deeply involved in crafting the looks she wears.
Haenn said the show delivers a variety of music and fashion flavors. “Jennifer’s shows feature all of the things that inspire her music, so there’s always an element of Old Hollywood glamour, hip-hop from the “Jenny from the Block” days, a Latin section, a ballad and an electronic-dance-music section — each of which has its own distinct look.”
