The 2017 Golden Globe nominations are underway, and there have already been some notable nods.
Sarah Jessica Parker has earned a nomination for Best Actress in a TV Musical or Comedy for her role in the HBO series “Divorce.” Parker is best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in HBO’s series “Sex in the City,” which ran from 1998-2004.
Thomas Haden Church co-stars as Parker’s husband, Robert. The show, which premiered in October, follows the couple as they navigate a drawn-out, messy divorce after 10 years of marriage.
As Parker earns praise for her role in the series, she also continues to expand her brand, SJP Collection. Last week Parker opened a store location in Washington, D.C. She also recently collaborated with luxury e-tailer Net-a-Porter on a capsule collection.
The Golden Globes air on Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
