Gwyneth Paltrow brought the Midas touch to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s (LACMA) sixth annual Art and Film gala.
The Oscar winner made a chic style statement in gold Gucci sandals on Saturday at the museum’s soiree.
Gucci’s metallic gold sandals feature a front knot detail and a 4.5-inch stiletto heel; they retail for $795 online.
She completed the look with a black silk crêpe cocktail dress from the label’s spring 2017 collection. Sequins in green, red and gold were incorporated around the collar and sleeves.
“Thank you @lallo25 and@Gucci for the most elegant Los Angeles evening #LACMAart+film and thank you@eswmaui @georgieeisdell @cwoodhair@tousjewelry,” the “Iron Man” star captioned a photo with Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele on Instagram.
Michele served as the host committee chair for the event dubbed the “Met Ball of the West.” The annual fundraiser gala, co-chaired by Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, honored installation artist Robert Irwin and Oscar-winning director Kathryn Bigelow.
Gucci honcho Francois-Henri Pinault, the CEO of the brand’s parent company Kering, joined his wife, actress Salma Hayek, at the event.
The Oscar-nominated actress wore a floor-length Gucci gown and posed for photos with Demi Moore, who donned the label’s studded suede high heel pumps. The footwear retails for $1,850 online and incorporates glass pearl and crystal studs.
