Graphic Prints In Shoes Make A Statement For Resort 2017

For resort ’17, prints are ready for their close-up. Footwear designers experimented with graphic prints in a variety of treatments, using the freshest silhouettes as a blank canvas for finely detailed patterns.

The inspirations were wide-ranging. Nicolò Beretta of Giannico, for instance, took cues from the Royal Pavilion in Brighton, England, creating a print inspired by its tapestry. Meanwhile, Casadei looked to rainbows for its Blade heel in multicolored python.

Paul Andrew’s statement Kimura pump was achieved via layered suedes, stacked together via thin pieces of adhesive. Laurence Dacade’s denim boot with floral motif was done with embroidery.
