Jonathan Anderson’s New Madrid Store Will Include a Flower Shop

Jonathan Anderson keeps stretching Loewe into broader lifestyle territory: A flower shop is among unexpected features of Loewe’s new Madrid flagship, slated to open to the public on Friday.

The 10,000-sq.-ft. unit spreads over three floors of Loewe’s head office in a landmark 19th-century building, and it showcases the top-to-toe makeover Anderson has engineered since arriving in 2014 as creative director of the heritage brand, owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton.

The unit, dubbed Casa Loewe, also boasts artworks and specialized departments for made-to-measure and exotic skin items. Anderson and LVMH brass are heading to Madrid for a slate of opening events on Thursday, including a store cocktail, an exhibition at Madrid’s botanical gardens and an after-party.
