London-based accessories designer Sophia Webster has announced the launch of “SW Vault,” a new e-commerce site that will feature archival pieces at discounted prices.
The site, which launches today, will be live for 72 hours and will continue to open periodically throughout the year.
In order to unlock the “Vault” customers will need to type a four-digit code which will be teased on the brand’s social media channels, through musical clues in videos.
This isn’t the first time Webster has used social media to interact with her customers. She is known for always sharing humorous behind-the-scenes moments from the brand’s headquarters in East London via Snapchat and has previously held design competitions on Instagram.
Once inside the vault, customers will be able to find popular styles from past collections such as the “Chiara” butterfly sandals, which are marked down from 420 pounds (or $533) to 390 pounds ($495), or the metallic “Lacey” sandals, marked down from 525 pounds ($665) to 263 pounds ($333).
“I’m so excited to open the SW Vault, and offer my customers another opportunity to buy styles from previous seasons,” noted Sophia Webster. “I have personally gone through past collections and chosen some of my favorite shoes to be featured on the website, and I hope that both those who have been with the brand since the beginning as well as new customers will enjoy the journey through our archives.”
This is one of many new launches this year for Sophia Webster, who has also opened the doors to her first retail store on Mount Street last spring and launched a new line of handbags.
