Day 4: Gucci
Alessandro Michele showed off his love of travel in his latest collection. Using androgynous shapes like Mary James and low-cut loafers, turning to animal motifs, the collection further solidified Michele’s place at Gucci’s helm.

Day 3: Prada
Prada’s spring ’17 men’s collection tackled a theme we’ve seen much of this season so far: the modern explorer and urban traveler. But only Miuccia Prada could do it in such a way to make it feel non-derivative and completely new. She paired crisp suits against oversized backpacks, knit sweater vests with splash pants, printed dress shirts with athletic leggings. Simply put: she squashed her competition like an annoying mosquito.

Day 2: Marni
It wouldn’t be a Marni shoe without a mandal. And that’s exactly what we got for spring ’17. Designer Consuelo Castiglion showed a mixture of casual, clunky sandals and lace-up dress shoes, which felt newer with its two-tone treatments.

Day 1: DSquared2
Designers Dean and Dan Caten shook up the menswear scene by showing platform glam rock ankle booties for, yes, him. Some styles were covered in glitter and bedazzled with flashy flame prints. Others were done in simpler, and dare we say wearable, black leathers and paired with sleek trousers.
