For the first time, men’s and women’s styles will be available for direct purchase through the new e-commerce platform. Pierre Hardy will offer exclusive styles online and coordinate the initiative with the designer’s New York store in the West Village.
The launch will be supported by Hardy’s other digital and social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and Twitter.
Consumers who purchase a style online with receive a cube tote bag as part of the platform’s inauguration.
“The launch of our U.S. e-commerce site is a natural progression for the brand,” the designer said. “The U.S. represents an important, dynamic part of our global business. And the exciting part is that it is like taking our Jane Street boutique in the West Village and giving it a mega steroid shot. We now have a platform to speak and to sell directly to our customers all over the U.S.”
Meanwhile, Hardy, who has been an industry force for many years, will take the stage at the FN Summit on June 6. The designer will participate in a conversation that will take the audience inside his design process and work with legendary French brands such as Balenciaga and Hermés.
