Mr Porter and Maison Kitsuné are teaming up.
The luxury men’s retailer has just launched an exclusive Maison Kitsuné capsule collection. The offering currently includes nine different pieces, including footwear, but more products will be added on Friday.
Among bomber jackets, graphic tees and sweaters with logos, the collection includes a pair of two-tone penny loafers — in navy and cream — that retail for $550.
Though the collection is exclusive to Mr Porter, Maison Kitsuné will also carry the products in its physical stores from the end of June. (Meanwhile, its Hong Kong stores will receive it in October.)
Mr Porter marked its fifth anniversary this year and celebrated with a range of product launches. It recently added high-end labels such as Dries Van Noten and Tom Ford to the site.
“Enhancing our existing product offering is a big focus, specifically our shoe business,” said Sam Lobban, Mr. Porter’s buying manager. “When it comes to footwear, if you look back a few years, the offering was much more narrow. We’ve grown to include over 100 brands, with 21 subcategories of styles.”
