Jimmy Choo is making a big splash for its 20th anniversary — and the brand continued to celebrate the milestone in New York with an intimate dinner last week.
The fete — hosted by CEO Pierre Denis and creative director Sandra Choi – was timed around the opening of the brand’s new Soho store on Greene Street. Rob Pruitt, Olivia Palermo, Genevieve Jones, Lauren Remington Platt, Cristina Ehrlich and Jessica Joffe were among the big names who attended the dinner at new Manhattan hot spot The Blonde.
The brand’s big initiatives continue throughout the year. Jimmy Choo will debut another high-profile location at 699 Madison Ave. before summer begins. (The Upper East Side opening marks the relocation of the brand’s original boutique there.)
Both boutiques feature the design concept crafted by David Collins studio and reinterpreted by Christian Lahoude studio.
“New York has always been a very important market as it served as our first retail location back in 1998,” said Denis in a statement. “The opening of these two stores play an important role in serving the city’s dynamic clientele. With locations both uptown and downtown, we are able to speak to a wider audience and cater to both New Yorkers and visitors alike.”
