The 2016 CFDA Awards has just wrapped at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom — and a host of big names has taken home awards this year.
Winner, Swarovski Award for Accessory Design: Paul Andrew
The Swarovski Award for Accessory Design was decided among Aurora James for Brother Vellies; Gigi Burris, and Paul Andrew.

Winner, Womenswear Designer of the Year: Marc Jacobs
For Womenswear Designer of the Year, the nominees were Joseph Altuzarra for Altuzarra; Marc Jacobs; Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler; Kate Mulleavy and Laura Mulleavy for Rodarte, and Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row.
Winner, Menswear Designer of the Year: Thom Browne
For Menswear Designer of the Year, they were Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne for Public School; Marcus Wainwright and David Neville for Rag & Bone; Tim Coppens; Thom Browne and Todd Snyder.

Winner, Accessory Designer of the Year: Mansur Gavriel
The Accessory Designer of the Year Award was decided between Joseph Altuzarra for Altuzarra; Irene Neuwirth; Rachel Mansur and Floriana Gavriel for Mansur Gavriel; Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler, and Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row.
Winner, Swarovski Award for Menswear: Orley
The Swarovski Award for Menswear was among John Elliott, Rio Uribe for Gypsy Sport and Alex Orley, Matthew Orley and Samantha Orley for Orley.
Winner, Swarovski Award for Womenswear: Brandon Maxwell
Nominees for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear included Brandon Maxwell, Ryan Roche and Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia for Monse.
Norma Kamali is the recipient of the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Founder’s Award, in honor of Eleanor Lambert, was presented to Donna Karan.

Imran Amed of the Business of Fashion received the Media Award, in honor of Eugenia Sheppard.
The International Award went to Alessandro Michele of Gucci.

David Bowie posthumously received the Board of Director’s Tribute.
