Buscemi sneakers just got a whole lot more luxe. The high-end sneaker brand, which opened its first flagship store in New York’s Soho neighborhood on Thursday, marked the occasion with a special art instillation featuring a diamond-encrusted style.
The 4,000-sq.-ft. store on Wooster Street is part shopping space and part gallery, with seasonal artist collaborations on view. “The first one I did myself, but we’ll have more coming up,” said founder Jon Buscemi, who was on hand to celebrate.
The first gallery instillation displayed Buscemi’s 100mm sneaker silhouette featuring 18k gold details and diamond-encrusted closures, which took more than 20 hours to complete and are valued at $132,000.
The event drew such notables as Scott Disick, Sofia Richie, Phillip Lim, Rich the Kid and Harif Guzman. It also featured musical performances by DJ Stretch Armstrong and the Umbrella Boyz.

If you’re feeling like treating yourself, the store is open now and houses exclusive footwear and accessories for men, women and children (retailing from $250 to $10,000). “We used to skate up and down these streets,” said Buscemi. “Now I invite everyone to come hang out and experience my world.”
