The teens behind the viral video hit “Damn Daniel” were welcomed to “The Ellen Show.” Daniel Lara, 14, and Josh Holz, 15, received a lifetime supply of Vans sneakers from the brand and DeGeneres thanks to the video that has since received millions of views. In the video, Holz comments on Lara’s sneakers by saying, “Damn Daniel,” which prompted a viral response across social media and celebrities.
The talk-show host brought a local Chicago woman to her show after her generosity toward a homeless woman went viral. DeGeneres was so inspired by the story and told the crowd how she admired the woman’s giving ways so much that she wanted to give her own Ed by Ellen boots away. “I thought I would give you my shoes. They’re your size exactly. We’re the same size,” said DeGeneres. “And I always keep my money in it, so I have $10,000.”
The talk-show host stepped up her sneaker game last season and rocked a pair of tan Yeezy Boost 350s and a bomber jacket. DeGeneres invited a group of guests on stage for a messy game that involved throwing paint. With some valuable footwear on, DeGeneres knew not to go anywhere near them. “I’m staying right here because I’ve got my Kanye Yeezy shoes on and I’m not going over there!” she said.
The rapper made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” wearing Christian Louboutin lace-up sandals. The gladiator-like shoes made for quite the style statement.While on the show, the rapper talked about her role in the film “Barbershop: The Next Cut” and working with co-star Ice Cube. Later on that night, she wore the same pair of shoes to the film’s premiere.
