Selena Gomez’s hit “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” seems to have resonated with Brian Atwood.
The designer showered the entertainer with praise today after photos emerged of her chic shoe style statement Saturday night in Los Angeles — in one of his own designs.
“Now this is how you do it,” Atwood captioned an Instagram photo, adding that she was “looking flawless in my TAMARA sandals out last night in Los Angeles #brianatwood #selenagomez#highheels #chic #la #thesexisintheheel.”
The singer-actress was seen strutting in strappy Brian Atwood heels as she made her way to the trendy L.A. eatery Catch. The shoes retailed for $725 but are currently sold out. Sleek and sexy, the sandals feature two crisscross straps, as well as straps along the toe and ankle.
Gomez teamed the footwear with an all-black ensemble that included a Carine Roitfeld x Uniqlo blouse, Ayr skinny trousers and a Givenchy handbag.
She was joined by record producer Chauncey Hollis Jr. during the outing.
The encouraging words from Atwood come at a much-needed time. Gomez recently took a three-month hiatus from the spotlight after canceling the remaining dates of her “Revival” tour and entering a treatment facility on Aug. 30 to manage “anxiety, panic attacks and depression,” she said in a statement to Us Weekly at the time.
She made her first public appearance on Nov. 20 at the American Music Awards since announcing that she planned to deal with health woes.
