Selena Gomez stood out in Manolo Blahnik and Paul Andrew on Thursday at WE Day — a youth empowerment initiative.
During her performance in Los Angeles, the actress and musician paired her custom-made sheer black Houghton dress with Paul Andrew ‘Liberty’ over-the-knee boots in stretch nappa with custom white laces for her performance.
A number of celebrities have chosen the Liberty style, including Zendaya, who stepped out in the style last week.
While on stage, Gomez told the crowd of students: “I continue to be inspired by the young people who are breaking down barriers and creating real change around the world.”
The event was a celebration of youth making a difference in their local and global communities. WE Schools is the yearlong program that nurtures compassion in young people and gives them the tools to create transformative social change.
Earlier, Gomez also garnered the spotlight on the red carpet when she wore Manolo Blahnik suede pumps paired with a floor-length bright yellow jacket and faded jeans.
Overall, the star has made waves with her shoe picks during the past few months. At Paris Fashion Week, she gave her stamp of approval to emerging label Soebedar, wearing the Shania pump. The shoe featured a signature orange leather sole, mesh and patent leather.
