Singer and actor Nick Jonas is already embracing his new partnership with Creative Recreation.
On Wednesday, Jonas performed at the Propel Co: Labs pop-up fitness studio in Venice, Calif., wearing a pair of custom Creative Recreation Castucci sneakers.
The silhouette will debut as part of the brand’s fall ’16 collection that drops in July. Jonas wore an all-black pair of the Castucci, but the shoes will be available with a black upper and white sole.
Creative Recreation announced its multifaceted partnership with Jonas earlier this month. Not only will Jonas act as a face of the brand, he’ll also be designing a capsule collection.
“I am looking forward to my collaboration with Creative Recreation, and to starting the footwear design process in creating shoes for my fans that are perfect for their wardrobe,” Jonas said. “It has always been important for me to be hands-on with any collaboration, and this project is no exception.”
Jack Oerth, president of Creative Recreation, said that Jonas is a celebrity that appeals to both men and women.
“His collection will be a focal point as we seek to build our women’s business and continue to extend our brand into new retail channels,” said Oerth.
