Following the waist-alteration controversy surrounding Meghan Trainor’s new music video, “Me Too,” the singer appeared on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to perform her latest single and took quite a spill.
Trainor hit the stage on Thursday night, and by the end of the performance, she was flat on her back due to slipping in her sky-high metallic platforms.

Trainor made her “Good Morning America” debut this morning and laughed off the “Tonight Show” fall, saying, “I’m feeling little bruises today. I actually got up and I did it again, but I looked at it, and that was the better performance.”
The Grammy winner, who debuted a Skechers commercial in March, also discussed the issue behind the release of the “Me Too” video, which was altered in order for Trainor to have a slimmer waist.
Trainor told fans on Snapchat the video was released without her consent.
“My waist is not that teeny, I had a bomb waist that night, I don’t know why they didn’t like my waist, but I didn’t approve that video and it went out for the world, so I’m embarrassed,” she said.
On Tuesday, Trainor rereleased the “Me Too” video, thanking fans on Instagram for their support.
“I don’t know how you shave my waist off, like me, as the “All About That Bass” girl. I didn’t want this song to be the new anthem for Photoshop, but obviously it’s still a big issue,” she said on “GMA.”
Trainor’s second studio album, “Thank You,” was released today.
