On Monday night, Lena Dunham stepped in out in New York for an event for her online publication, “Lenny Letter.” We happened to notice her pink satin jeweled shoes and immediately guessed they were a pricey pair by Prada or Miu Miu. We were wrong.
Dunham’s heels are actually by Topshop and retail for $110 — that’s hundreds of dollars less than similar pairs by the Italian fashion labels. The crisscross sandals, which retail on both Topshop.com and Nordstrom.com, have a 4.75-inch heel and a 1-inch platform, making them not completely impossible to walk in.
The actress paired them with a patchwork denim skirt from ASOS and a pink top. The sandals are also offered in black.
Dunham recently got into the shoe-designing business, working on a selection of sneakers with skate brand Lakai, with proceeds benefiting the Young Women Empowered organization.
