“Girls” star Allison Williams was on hand to present her fellow co-star and the HBO show’s creator, Lena Dunham, with an award on Tuesday night at the annual Blossom Ball held by the Endometriosis Foundation of America in New York City.
Dunham looked red-carpet ready for the occasion, stepping out in Jimmy Choo Aza white pumps, while Williams chose a Nina Ricci gown and black heels. Williams was styled by Cristina Ehrlich.
EFA honored Dunham with a Blossom Award for her contribution to raising awareness for endometriosis and the advancement of women. Susan Saradon was also honored during event.
The EFA was co-founded by “Top Chef” host and author Padma Lakshmi.
“Padma has been amazing. Padma reached out the minute that she learned I’d been diagnosed. And when I went public with it in my book,” Dunham told People magazine. “She has lead me to all kinds of resources and knowledge and given me a better understanding of the community of women who are suffering with this illness. I feel very, very blessed to know her.”
