Lady Gaga left London in style on Wednesday, pairing her metallic coat dress and Gladys Tamez cowboy hat with a pair of standout boots.
As she departed the Langham Hotel, the star wore scarlet lace-up boots by Swedish designer Rebecca Björnsdotter, who launched for spring ’16 and was featured in FN’s emerging talent issue this summer. In that interview, the designer described her designs as “heroine heels.”

“I want to bring historical influences into my work, but without looking costumey,” Björnsdotter said. “I want to have a connection to the Nordic world through the material choices, patterns and inspiration from the outdoors. My designs are a little different, and I’m targeting a strong, empowered woman.”

Lady Gaga seems to have an affinity for up-and-coming shoe names. Last year, she stepped out in two spring/summer 2015 styles by Giannico, including an embellished pump with a Swarovski crystal banana. Giannico designer Nicolò Giannico Beretta just won FN’s emerging talent award last week at the FNAAs.

Meanwhile, it’s been a big year for Gaga. In February, she took the stage at Super Bowl 50 and grabbed the stadium’s attention with not only her vocals but with her custom Gucci platform shoes and her red glitter suit. Gaga also celebrated her 30th birthday in March. The “Million Reasons” songstress towered over guests in a pair of 10-inch Tribeca sandals, which were custom-made by Brian Atwood.
