Lady Gaga is back to her wild fashion ways after toning things down for several months during her Dive Bar Tour in support of her latest album, “Joanne.”
During the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which aired on Monday night, Gaga wore her signature Pleaser 10-inch platforms as she paraded across the stage alongside the models. After the show’s filming last week in Paris, Gaga stuck around the City of Lights, then traveled to London, where she was spotted wearing an even crazier pair.
Outside the Langham Hotel in London, Gaga showed off a pair of lace-up platform boots, which appeared to have a heel, but upon closer examination one can see that the heel actually doesn’t reach the ground. Instead, it creates the illusion that the heel has broken off. One of her stylists, Sandra Amador, revealed that the shoes are from British heiress and fashion icon Daphne Guinness’ archives.
Guinness and Gaga also share a love for Alexander McQueen’s Armadillo boots, which the late designer had designed mostly as a showpiece, but these are two of the few women who dared to walk in them. They also posed for V Magazine earlier this year wearing the iconic boots.
