The Kenzo and H&M show Wednesday night in New York attracted an impressive crowd. Lupita Nyong’o, Chloë Sevigny, Elizabeth Olsen and other stars grabbed front-row seats for the animated show, which featured dancers, drummers and more.

Joe Jonas, Sienna Miller and Rosario Dawson also attended.

For the collection, Kenzo’s Carol Lim and Humberto Leon collaborated with Jean-Paul Goude.

“We wanted to do something super-special,” Kenzo co-designer Carol Lim told Footwear News after the show. “We took pieces from the archive that we’ve never really put in our collection and wanted to have a dialogue between what we’ve created and what Kenzo Takada created.”
Most of the footwear had bright rubber soles for traction and splash. “We designed the shoes first and just worked with it,” said Lim. “By asking Jean-Paul Goude to creative-direct, it really evolved into a collaboration between the three of us come to life.”

The collaboration hits stores Nov. 3.
