Beyoncé and Jay Z attended a L.A. Clippers game over the weekend, and while Jay-Z was wearing black Yeezy Boost 350s—one of the most coveted pairs of shoes right now—Beyoncé one-upped him with her footwear choice: a pair of custom bubblegum-pink Givenchy platform sandals.
The sandals aren’t available, but are a version of the Givenchy Matilda sandals with a platform instead of a single sole. She kept the rest of her look simple with a Saint Laurent leather jacket, Rag & Bone leggings and a black hat and glasses. She did add another pop of pink with her Loewe handbag.
Beyoncé’s shoes were so eye-catching, it would be easy to overlook the fact that Jay Z was wearing Yeezys. It’s not often that this couple is caught out and about, and it’s especially rare to see Jay Z in Yeezys, as lately he’s most often seen in Timberland, Nike or Adidas Superstars.
At the Super Bowl earlier this month, Beyoncé wore custom Christian Louboutin lace-up booties for her performance with Coldplay and Bruno Mars. And in her recently released video for her song “Formation,” she dons a Gucci getup.
