Gwen Stefani went all out with her punk-inspired ensemble at a special show Sunday at Irvine Meadows Stadium in California’s Orange County.
The songstress, a native of the OC, wore tartan trousers, a floral mesh top, a sequined military jacket and lace-up Dr. Martens boots for the venue’s final performance.
“Tonight is one of the most special nights for all of us,” Stefani told the crowd. “We, together, will be closing down Irvine Meadows. This is it, right here … I’m so honored to be from Orange County, and I’m so honored to be with you here tonight to celebrate music.'”
Stefani first played at the venue more than two decades ago with her band No Doubt. The venue is being demolished to make way for a new housing development.
The songstress, well known for her eclectic style, performed on the “Today” show in July in signature Dr. Martens lace-up boots. She also wore the same punk ensemble (boots included) onstage in Florida earlier this year.
She has worn the boots for many onstage moments over the years, including the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball and Global Citizen Festival in 2014.
