We already know that Gigi Hadid is the face of Stuart Weitzman’s fall ’16 campaign. But today the label has unveiled an exclusive collaboration with the supermodel, The Gigi Boot. And you can buy it right now.
The high heeled hiker-style bootie was co-designed by Hadid herself, with a stacked heel, metallic eyelets and two-toned laces designed to wrap around the ankle. There are three fabrications: black crocodile-print calf leather, metallic silver “iron specchio” and bronze metallic “copper glass.” The style brings to mind a very shiny, high-heeled Timberland boot.
The bootie comes in a signature Gigi Hadid box and is available exclusively at Stuart Weitzman retail locations and online. A short film directed by James Franco and starring Hadid, titled #DoItRight, which teased on social media last week, also debuts in full.
Shot at Brooklyn’s iconic Gleason’s Gym, the film features a jabbing, kicking Gigi in the ring, wearing the boot, natch. The soundtrack was composed by Martin Solveig and Tkay Maidza, and the concept was inspired by Hadid’s real-life workout regimen. (With a Paris Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show date confirmed for Dec. 5, aspiring Victoria’s Secret Angels would do well to take note…)
The collaboration also highlights the Stuart Weitzman partnership with educational charity Pencils of Promise; the brand has committed to fund the building of three schools — one each in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos.
Hadid’s other half, Zayn Malik, has his own upcoming collaboration with Giuseppe Zanotti, so expect the pair to be sporting a whole lot of his ‘n’ her collab boots.
The shoes range in price from $565 to $595.
