Blake Lively made a glamorous entrance Wednesday in France to kick off the 2016 Cannes Film Festival at the fête’s opening ceremony featuring Woody Allen’s “Café Society.” The actress wowed in Christian Louboutin sandals and a Versace crystal-covered gown.
As a self-proclaimed Louboutin lover, it’s no surprise Lively hit the red carpet in the red-soled shoes. But along with the shoes, Lively brought along the designer himself as her date.
Earlier in the day, Lively joined co-star Kristen Stewart at the photo call for “Café Society.” Lively wore the same Christian Louboutin sandals, while Stewart chose Louboutin pumps.
Before the festival launched, Lively gave fashion fans a sneak peek at her festival style with looks from Dior, Versace, Elie Saab, Vivienne Westwood, Giambattista Valli and Armani.
Lively also took to Instagram to show off her first-day outfit, which included strappy Ferragamo sandals.
Despite not having a film in the festival in 2014, Lively owned the Cannes red carpet and turned heads in Gucci and Chanel gowns. The mommy-to-be chose statement shoe looks from Casadei and Sophia Webster.
