Beyoncé’s Met Gala Shoe Style Through The Years

Will Beyoncé show up to the Met Gala this year? The singer — who is always keeping us guessing — will most likely make an appearance at The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s famous fête in New York City on Monday. She conveniently has a day off from The Formation World Tour, which began last night in Miami.

Last year, many models and actresses stormed the Met Steps, with no signs of Beyoncé on the red carpet. Finally, the singer made a last-second appearance in a revealing head-to-toe Givenchy ensemble that was well worth the wait.

It was no surprise to see Beyoncé wearing Givenchy. The “Formation” singer chose Givenchy designs for the Met Gala in 2014, 2013 and 2012.

In 2014, it wasn’t Queen Bey’s beaded Givenchy gown that made headlines. Instead, it was the infamous elevator brawl that went down with husband Jay Z and her sister, Solange Knowles, at a Met Gala after-party.

Back to the fashion, Beyoncé’s 2013 look had her best statement shoes to date. She opted for Givenchy printed over-the-knee boots paired with a matching strapless gown and gloves.
