12 Shoe Picks for Best Actress Nominees at the Emmy Awards

Twelve leading ladies. Twelve pairs of standout shoes. In anticipation of the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards, taking place Sept. 18 and airing on ABC, Footwear News is rounding up shoe styles perfectly suited for the nominees to make a statement.

There are six women nominated in the Drama Series category and six women for Comedy Series. The shoe choices are both elegant and bold, playing up black, silver and gold hues — to match any gown. We took into account the actresses’ red-carpet style: Are they creative or classic with their footwear choices? Many styles feature current red-carpet trends and play up glamorous touches, such as glitter, metallics and embellishments.
