Athletic footwear brand Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) has launched a new fashion-focused collection, titled APL LUX. The new line of high-end performance shoes are made in Italy and includes two new footwear styles, the Lusso and the Cielo.
The Lusso, which retails for $350, is a training shoe made of quilted leather and suede. It also features a cushioned midsole and padded collar, and is available in white and silver or black and silver.
The Cielo sneaker, meanwhile, made its debut last year during New York Fashion Week, where the brand partnered with Creatures of the Wind on runway shoes. The style retails for $495 and is made of leather, suede and neoprene. It features a cross-strap closure and socklike fit. It’s available in red, black and white, or white and linen.
The new assortment of women’s and men’s styles is available now on APL’s e-commerce website.
APL designers Adam and Ryan Goldston were featured on the cover of the 2015 Footwear News Emerging Talent issue. The twin brothers launches their brand in 2009, and they garnered serious street cred after having their Load ’N’ Launch technology banned by the NBA in 2010.
