Here’s what you need to know about shoes and fashion happening this week.

1. NFL Draft

The NFL Draft returns to Chicago on Thursday. Buzz surrounding the annual splashy event is growing loud as the Tennessee Titans traded their first round pick to the newly relocated Los Angeles Rams, and the Cleveland Browns swapped their No. 2 pick to the Philadelphia Eagles. Nike also announced its new Draft Class last week, including standout rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch.

2. Coach, VF Corp, Columbia Earnings

Coach reports earnings Tuesday, and all eyes will be on the Stuart Weitzman arm of the brand to see if the shoe label continues to do well. Outdoor brand Columbia reports on Thursday, and VF Corp. will be announced on Friday.

3. One Week to Met Gala

Pay close attention to social media this week as the buzz surrounding the upcoming Metropolitan Museum of Art Gala grows. We’re expecting plenty of behind the scenes shots of fashionable works of art ahead of the May 5 public opening of “Manus x Machina” for the museum’s Costume Institute and gala on May 2.

4. Nike Preps Jordan Release 

Nike announced the release of the Air Jordan 10 Retro “New York.” The sneaker, in a style not often released,  hits shelves Saturday and finds inspiration from Michael Jordan’s legendary career on the court.
