Voters in the United Kingdom head to the polls on Thursday to decide if Britain will remain in the European Union. Recent polls have shown a nearly 50-50 split in whether voters believe they should stay or exit the EU, and the consequences have business and international markets feeling jittery. Experts expect a vote to leave the EU to send shock waves through international and EU markets, potentially causing a recession and most definitely further devaluing the British pound against the dollar.
