2. Trans-Pacific Partnership Being Signed Thursday

President Obama and global leaders get a trip to New Zealand this week for the official signing of the Trans Pacific Partnership on Thursday. The signing is just the beginning of approval though — the U.S. Congress and other member legislatures and Parliaments have to approve the deal which should save footwear around $450 million in tariffs in the first year alone.

3. NFL Turns Attention To Super Bowl 50

The Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos have landed in San Francisco for the big game on Sunday Feb. 7. Under Armour is betting big on star quarterback and brand athlete Cam Newton. It could also be the final go for a Super Bowl ring for legendary Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning.

Analysts are watching closely as Ugg parent company report third quarter earnings on Thursday Feb. 4. Warm winter weather and promotional activity through the holidays could eat at sales results, and high inventory could be a big headwind for the last quarter of the year.

Consumer handbag fatigue and extra promotions during the December holiday have market watchers on alert as Kors reports third quarter earnings Tuesday Feb. 2.
