Sam Edelman is opening up shop in Boston. A 2,795-sq.-ft. space in the Prudential Center opened over the weekend to mark the brand’s first store in Massachusetts.
“Boston has an amazingly youthful energy, and we are excited to be a part of it,” Sam Edelman, designer, founder and division president for the Sam Edelman division of Caleres, said in a statement. “The prime Back Bay location of the Prudential Center provides the perfect space for our newest retail store.”
With the opening in Boston, the Sam Edelman brand now operates nine stores in the U.S.
The spot was designed by Dagnell Folger of Architecture + Information. Store fixtures include reclaimed wood and raw concrete with touches such as rose-colored brass and black leather. The brands signature shade of green is featured throughout as a pop of color, among vintage furniture pieces curated by the designer himself.
The brand also recently opened stores in New Jersey and Los Angeles. All stores include the brands full lifestyle assortment, from shoes to handbags to clothing.
