Christian Louboutin has landed in Houston, opening a 2,259-sq.-ft. space this week at The Galleria in Texas that marks the brand’s 135th store opening.
The designer worked with New York-based architecture firm 212box on a space that keeps the women’s and men’s offerings separate. To incorporate signature elements for the brand, the carpet is red. A camouflage pattern made out of multicolored studs has been placed over midnight blue lacquer. Some Western references were included, too, such as wood tiles. The furniture is colorful and fun.
The men’s store features another facade of studded leather. Gray lacquer panels are also on the walls, with a gray rug covering the floors. Wood tiles with standout patterns were also made locally for the men’s space.
The new store showcases the autumn and winter ’16 shoes, handbags and beauty offerings.
