Rupert Sanderson‘s latest campaign is here, featuring stilettos with playful details that pop. For the spring/summer 2016 campaign, “the idea was to create a sense of Brazilian luxe and sexiness by contrasting the bright popping shoes and body with an abrasive downtown concrete backdrop,” said the Sanderson team.
The images were shot by photographer Adam Whitehead and styled by Hannah Teare.
When Sanderson spoke with Footwear News about his spring ’16 shoe collection, he said, “It’s about finding those fun new elements to play around with each season.”
When asked about the silicone flower-petal details (pictured above), the designer said the material came from an unexpected source: retro floral swim caps. “Oh yes — I searched for these in Italy and finally found what I was looking for down the road in Soho,” he said.
